Meet The Teacher

Hello! Thank you for visiting.

I am eager to begin teaching this year at Caldwell! If you are a student or a parent, I am looking forward to a wonderful year getting to know you and growing in our learning together.

In the recent past, my job description has been one of mother, chauffeur, ballet and baseball mom, chef, and events coordinator for my three blessings, two daughters and a son. All of my kids have been participants in our wonderful dual language program! My husband and I love to travel and play Jeopardy on our Alexa device in our rare moments of free time.

I have 6 years prior teaching experience and taught 5th grade Math and Language Arts and a self contained 4th grade classroom.

Some of my favorite learning adventures have been when my students in 4th grade studied millipedes and built terrarium aquariums. We learned a LOT, but were astonished to discover how adept a millipede was at escaping from the closed containers in which the were kept....oops!! The library downstairs seems to have been a favorite place for them to go, so I threatened to call those arthropods "book worms" instead if they didn't behave better!

As I re-enter the teaching profession, I am excited to make new discoveries and memories along with my students.  I believe that every student has the ability to achieve great things. It is my desire to help every student be motivated to reach within so that they can discover and reveal their highest potential.

Learn.Grow.Love.
